‘A Tale Of…’ brings together poets and musicians to demonstrate the power and beauty of the muse.
The centerpiece of this evening is ‘A Tale of Two’, a 30-min multimedia poetry dialogue and meditation on love, life, art. It is a collaboration between two poets Marina Kazakova (BE) and Sara Mano (IT). They take a road through the favourite verses of great poets – alchemists from different centuries, as sparkles. You just need to listen – and we will hear the innermost secrets, learn about the muses of Sappho, Francesco Petrarca, Dante Alighieri, Johann Wolfgang Goethe, Marina Tsvetaeva, Igor Severyanin, Joseph Brodsky. The answers to all our questions are stored in encrypted messages of poets, they contain the whole palette of human feelings – love and grief, resentment and forgiveness, sin and temptation. You can overcome whole distances without fear, and stop 5 millimetres from your fate – this is the discovery they want to share in their new performance through the voices of famous poets and their own.

Poetry Performance – Olanda

‘So, What Is Your Question’ is a 2019-formed collaboration between the two artists Sara Maino (Trento, Italy) and Marina Kazakova (Russia).
Sara Maino is multimedia artist, director (theatre, video, installations, poetry and research), Portobeseno project curator.
Marina Kazakova is a Belgium-based Russian-born poet-performer.

The point of departure of their artistic creation is the interplay of the two selves (two poets) as well as the interplay between the poet and the world. The duet reflects on the idea of a conversation as the core of a creative process, dialogic structure as the heart of our creative thinking, and also of building relationships.

In this live poetry act, the artists display their instant thoughts on their creative relationship and why it and how it has unfolded the way it has, they come to see that there is a point within ourselves when we turn inward or outward in response to what we experience.

Monologo terapeutico sui corpi dolenti, il teatro e l’osteopatia

“… a bocca aperta corriamo da bambini intorno alle case, soffiando fuori urla e risate, fino in fondo al cortile, e lei ci riempie di leggerezza, fino a sollevarci, a farci sventolare come foglie su un ramo o panni su un filo, fissando l’unica accezione veramente umana del verbo volare. Il movimento comincia dal diaframma… e si urla ciò che non si può dire, che nascendo si comincia a morire, e ogni respiro vale la pena perché non ha uguali.”
Chi se ne cura è un monologo in cui una donna interpreta se stessa, nei ruoli di teatrante e osteopata, ma anche di formica e di Prometeo, con il corpo dolente e la mente assetata. Come tutti noi. Le sue parole sono un tentativo di rompere il tessuto connettivo che ci tiene uniti a distanza…
“Lei, come si sente adesso. Ha voglia di sorridere? O vorrebbe alzarsi e andarsene? Oppure sente il desiderio irrefrenabile di prendermi per le spalle e di scuotermi, di dirmi che non le interessa niente di quanti fratelli ho, del comportamento delle formiche e di quello che disse il greco. Vorrebbe solo vivere sana, felice e benestante fino a 120 anni! Scelga: la prima, la seconda o la terza che ho detto?… No, mi scusi, mi perdoni… non posso… non posso continuare così. Ho una visione sconfortante del mio pubblico di pazienti. Non capiranno nulla.”
…e di ricostituirlo, più compatto e sano, alla luce di una riflessione profonda che parte dal corpo e dalle sue giunture.

Dal corpo merce alla libertà di essere

Una riflessione sul corpo per un progetto tutto al femminile.
Dal corpo sfruttato, abusato, usato, venduto e monetizzato – prodotto del neoliberalismo che riguarda specialmente il corpo delle donne – all’attenzione verso diritti, stereotipi, genere, identità/dis-identità, queer/transfemminismo, con un approfondimento su meditazione, cura e consapevolezza di ciò che siamo come strumento di Libertà.

Il manifesto anti-pubblicitario contro la mercificazione del corpo, che ritrae la schiena nuda dell’artista con la scritta “niente da vendere”, è stato l’inizio di un processo partecipativo di resistenza artistica che in questo format viene presentato al MACRO Asilo.
